Numbers

Spell out the numbers zero to ninety-nine in text and zero to nine in footnotes, with the following exception:

A number is spelled out if:

• it begins a sentence
• it is "Hundred," "Thousand," or a similar round number

A numeral is used if:

• it is in a series which includes one or more numerals
• a decimal points is included
• percentages or dollar amounts are repeatedly used
• it is a section or subdivision number
