UND School of Law
ABA Site Visit and Re-Accreditation
Spring 2007

From Wednesday, March 21 through Friday, March 23, 2007 (the week following spring break), a team of lawyers and academics chosen by the American Bar Association will conduct a Site Visit at the School of Law as part of a required national law school re-accreditation process. The Site Visit Team will attend classes and meet with faculty, administrators, alumni, and students.

Since 1952, the American Bar Association (actually, the ABA's Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar) has been the U.S. Department of Education's recognized national agency for the accreditation of U.S. law schools. Every seven years, an accredited law school goes through an extensive evaluation in order to be re-accredited.
